Who we are
Danny Academy is a daycare, nursery, primary and junior secondary school at Ngecha, Mahinga — near the Railway line, Kenya. You can reach us on 0784 093 398 or at dannyacademy1@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Send a message form: your name, email, phone number (optional), subject and message.
- Book a visit form: your name, phone and email, the date and time you prefer, the programme you would like to see, and any notes you choose to add.
- Enquire for admission form: the parent or guardian’s name, phone and email, the child’s name and age, the programme of interest, and any notes you choose to add.
We ask only for what we need to answer you or to process an enquiry. Please do not put sensitive details, such as medical information, in these forms. We will ask for anything further directly, when it is needed.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to process an admission enquiry. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Form submissions are emailed to the school’s mailbox. School staff who deal with enquiries and admissions read them. The email is handled by our email provider (Google Mail) and the website is run by our hosting provider, who process data on our behalf.
Other services on this site
- Google Maps on the Contact page loads from Google. Google may receive technical details such as your IP address and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp links open WhatsApp only when you choose to tap them.
- The site’s fonts are stored on our own server. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only for as long as needed for the purpose above, including any record the school must keep once a child joins.
Keeping it safe
This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Forms are checked and limited to reduce spam and misuse, and our email settings are kept private.
Your rights
Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask what personal data we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
Children
Forms on this site are for parents and guardians. If a child has sent us information directly, please tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
